The first hike explores Gubeikou’s unrestored Wall before a countryside dinner and a watchtower camping night. A sunrise start leads into the longer Jinshanling hike on Day 2.
The camp is an outdoor experience with basic equipment. Bring warm layers, personal toiletries, a headlamp and a small bag that is easy to carry.

The full original program describes roughly 9 km of Gubeikou-to-Jinshanling hiking on Day 1 and a watchtower camp after a countryside dinner. Sunset and sunrise are central parts of the overnight experience.
On Day 2, the published longer route follows Jinshanling toward West Simatai’s Second Valley, where the Wall becomes more weathered. Hiking length varies by package and confirmed departure plan.
