Travel from Beijing to Gubeikou, then take a guided 4–4.5-hour Great Wall hike. Dinner and watchtower camping follow.
Day 2 · Sunrise and return
Enjoy a free morning walk and breakfast. The published plan uses an approximately 10:00 AM return train, reaching Beijing around 12:30 PM.

Day 2 · Guided hike
After sunrise and breakfast, hike with a local guide for about 4–4.5 hours. Lunch follows; a bus or later train returns to Beijing according to the season.
